VELO Dark Blackcurrant 8mg

Blackcurrant has a richer, slightly sharp taste compared with raspberry or strawberry, and the dark styling on the can matches that profile. It is popular with adults who grew to like blackcurrant cordials and candies, and it is a common flavor in Scandinavian pouch ranges.

Our listing shows a slim can of 20 pouches, rated at 11.4mg/g and weighing 14g net. The 8mg per pouch strength places it in our medium band, an everyday level for regular users who are not looking to step up to 10mg or more.

In VELO's dark fruit corner, Dark Blackcurrant pairs with Dark Cherry, a 4mg mini, and with Icy Cherry at 8mg. A store wanting one deep berry option at a regular strength will usually pick Dark Blackcurrant, then add Dark Cherry Mini if customers ask for something lighter and smaller.

This is a strong fit for online shops with European customers, specialist pouch stores and smoke shops. Convenience stores can stock it as the darker counterpart to a brighter berry such as Berry Frost or Ruby Berry, giving customers a choice of style within the fruit family.

Blackcurrant also has a following among customers who previously used traditional Scandinavian products, many of which featured blackcurrant flavors. For those buyers, a familiar flavor in a modern tobacco-free white pouch is a straightforward switch, and Dark Blackcurrant gives them that option within a brand they recognize.

On the shelf, place it with other 8mg VELO slims such as Blue Raspberry and Blueberry Ice. Customers comparing berries at the same strength will then choose purely by taste, which keeps the decision quick.
