How Online Shops Should List Nicotine Pouches: Titles, Specs and Filters

October 27, 2026, 2 min read. By the PouchWholesalers sales team.

In short: Good pouch listings put brand, flavor and mg per pouch in the title, show a full spec block, and let customers filter by strength and format. Clear listings cut returns and support questions.

Customers shopping for pouches online cannot read the can. Your listing has to do it for them. These are the rules we follow on this site, and they transfer to any online shop.

A good title carries the three things people search for: brand, flavor and strength.

  • Good: VELO Polar Mint 10mg Slim
  • Weak: VELO Mint

When a flavor comes in several strengths, each strength is its own listing with the mg in the title. Otherwise customers add the wrong one and you pay for the mistake.

Build a spec block

Give every listing the same spec fields in the same order:

  1. Brand
  2. Flavor
  3. mg per pouch
  4. mg/g (where listed)
  5. Format: slim, mini or large
  6. Pouches per can
  7. Net weight per can

Consistent specs make comparison easy, which is what shoppers want. Our strength guide explains why mg per pouch is the lead number and slim vs mini vs large covers formats.

Add filters

At minimum, let customers filter by:

  • Brand
  • Strength band: light, medium, strong, extra strong, ultra strong
  • Flavor family: mint, fruit, sweet, drinks, coffee
  • Format

Strength bands matter most. A shopper who wants a mild product should be able to exclude ultra-strong items in one click.

Describe, do not oversell

Write short, original descriptions of flavor and use case. Do not copy the manufacturer text, since duplicate descriptions rank poorly. Avoid health claims and anything that implies a product is safe or helps people quit. Keep language for adult buyers only.

Handle missing data honestly

Supplier listings are not always complete or consistent. If a field is unknown, leave it out or say it is being confirmed. Do not guess pouch counts or strength. Customers notice, and so do marketplaces.

Link each product to its brand page and two or three related products: same brand, same flavor, same strength. This is both useful to shoppers and good for search. Browse our catalog to see the pattern, or read how to stock a display for the in-store equivalent.

Build the catalog from a quote

If you are launching an online shop, request a quote with your target brands and we will confirm product details and pack information. Minimum order is 2 cartons, mixed brands allowed.

Questions from store owners

What should a nicotine pouch product title include?

Brand, flavor, strength in mg per pouch, and format when it varies, for example 'VELO Polar Mint 10mg Slim'.

Which spec fields do customers look for?

mg per pouch, pouches per can, format (slim, mini, large), flavor family and mg/g where available.

How do I handle products with missing data?

Leave the field out or mark it 'confirm with supplier' rather than guessing. Wrong specs cause complaints.

WARNING: This product contains nicotine which is a highly addictive substance.
